Shotblasting and priming

One of the most common surface treatments applied to pipes is shotblasting and red/brown priming, which temporarily protects them against corrosion. In the final structure, pipes are usually given a rust-resistant paint coating in the desired color.

  • Aqua welding primer EPC 7205, layer thickness approx. 25 µm
  • Epoxy shop primer Europon or Sigma, layer thickness approx. 20 µm
  • Silicate shop primer Sigmaweld MC, layer thickness approx. 20 µm
  • Interplate 937/Nippe Ceramo, layer thickness approx. 20 µm
